Our Online Pharmacy

You may now order items through The Rolling M Veterinary Clinic’s online pharmacy. Shop online anytime. For your convenience they will be shipped directly to your home. All prescription items must be approved by Dr. Moser. In order for the prescription items to be approved you must have a current Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship (VCPR) with Dr. Moser. This means that Dr. Moser has to have seen the animal in at least the past 12 months. If this has not occurred then the prescription will be declined and you will receive an email stating why.

The Food and Drug Administration holds veterinarians to the federal requirements for the veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). As stated by the FDA, the federal VCPR definition “requires animal examination and/or medically appropriate and timely visits to the premises where the animal(s) are kept” and “cannot be met solely through telemedicine.”

For Tennessee:
The veterinarian-client-patient relationship cannot be established or maintained solely by telephone or other electronic means.
Before prescribing animal drugs, the veterinarian must first, pursuant to appropriate protocols or veterinary orders, complete and appropriately document all of the following for the animal, herd, or flock on whose behalf the prescription is to be written:
  1. Perform an appropriate history and physical examination;
  2. Make a diagnosis based on the history, physical examination, and pertinent diagnostic and laboratory tests;
  3. Formulate a therapeutic plan and discuss it with the animal’s owner, along with the basis for it and the risks and benefits of various treatment options, a part of which might be a prescription or drug; and
  4. Ensure the availability of the veterinarian or the veterinarian’s staff for appropriate follow-up care.
